The self-storage site is accessed via our automated gate system, and once inside there is a whole host of storage solutions to choose from.

We offer three types of internal storage solutions including complete self-contained workshop facilities, buildings with individual wooden units placed inside for smaller low-cost storage needs, and new steel containers that provide spacious, dry and secure storage. 

We also provide external storage for cars, boats, caravans, campervans, motor homes, and plant, as well as offering a containerised removal service.

Frequently asked questions about self-storage

We have two sizes of containers, the standard being 20 feet (20′ x 8′ x 8′), equivalent to 1280 cubic feet, and the more compact, 10-foot container (10′ x 8′ x 8′), equivalent to 640 cubic feet.

We have three sizes of wooden storage units, with 9x8ft, 8x8ft and 8x6ft options. These are perfect for small items of furniture and other smaller household goods.

We only buy brand new containers of steel construction. They are sealed against dampness but have ventilation to prevent condensation. All containers are kept in excellent condition and cleaned thoroughly before each use.

The two sets of gates are locked at night and alarmed with a monitored system.

It is not always necessary but it is certainly advisable!

You will need to bring your first month’s licence fee which is payable in advance, and one month’s deposit. Please also bring your own, suitably sized padlock or we have some for sale on site.

The gates are open for standard trading from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday – Saturday. Outside of these hours, containers can be accessed 24 hours a day via the automated gates. We offer vehicle access to every unit so, unlike other storage facilities, you can drive right up to the doors of your container for loading and unloading, saving lots of time and energy.

No. We ask you to fill in a licence agreement, giving contact details and an invoicing address. It is NOT a lease and can be terminated with one month’s notice.

Absolutely not. There is a minimum period of one month. You may, of course, vacate within this time but you will not be eligible for a refund.

We will send you an invoice every month in advance. Payments can then be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or, set up a standing order.

We only require one months’ notice when you want to vacate your container. Any unused storage days beyond the one-month minimum period will be refunded.

We have a forklift able to lift 3 tonnes. This service has to be pre-booked, any excessive requirement may be subject to a fee.

Yes, this is solely your responsibility and on the agreement, you will sign to say you understand this. It is up to you but, for your own peace of mind, please check with your household insurance provider, or see the links for companies that insure goods in self-storage. We have found that most are happy to extend coverage to your belongings in storage free of charge because of the security measures we have in place. Our premises are insured for public liability and fire.

You can not store anything toxic, explosive or flammable ie. gas cylinders or fuel, anything perishable i.e. foodstuffs and no stolen goods!
